FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night in the 2010 MLS season opener for both sides. First half goals from both teams were the only scoring. In the 36th minute Houston got on the board first when Mike Chabala scored his first career MLS goal. Chabala took a sliding shot from the top of the eighteen that found the left corner of the net past Dario Sala. FC Dallas would answer almost immediately though as Atiba Harris evened the game. Harris dribbled around Houston defender Bobby Boswell and fired home from 15 yards away. The second half was fairly uneventful as both sides rarely threatened. There were only five shots on goal the whole evening. As the game stretched on it seemed both teams were happy with a draw to open the season. FC Dallas returns to the field on April 10th as they host the Columbus Crew at Pizza Hut Park.
