North Texas sides into the semifinals at 2011 Southern Regionals

Several North Texas teams are alive and kicking as the Southern Regionals head into semifinal play on Tuesday in Tennessee.
U14 -
Both Dallas Texans Red and FC Dallas 97 look on a collision coarse for tomorrow's final. That is if they can both get through their semifinal matchups today. FC Dallas slipped past Lonestar 1-0 on a 43rd minute Juan Amero goal. On the girls side, Sting 97 had no trouble booking their semifinal place with a dominant 5-0 victory over AHFC of South Texas. Sting will next face the Georgia state champs GSA Phoenix.
U15 -
It will be a Dallas clash in the boys semifinals as rivals Solar Chelsea 96 face off against Dallas Texans Red 96. Both sides rolled to comfortable quarterfinal victories. Solar rode a pair of first half goals to a 2-0 win over CASL while Texans destroyed Brentwood Premier 7-0.
Both girls sides also advanced to the semifinals are on target for a meeting in the finals. Sting cruised to a 3-0 win over TNFC Impact.
U16 -
Both Solar 95 and Solar Red 95 were eliminated in group play. Sting 95 girls are into the semifinals thanks to a 57th minute goal from Caitlyn Heap as they slipped past GSA Phoenix of Georgia. Next up is a matchup with North Carolina champs CASL who have yet to allow a goal in 4 matches so far.
U17 -
The Dallas Texans Red 94 boys crashed out in the quarterfinals losing 3-1 to CESA of South Carolina. CESA dominated play leading 3-0 before Vincent Johnson grabbed a late consolation goal. The Dallas Texans girls are alive and kicking though as they had no problem with the Collierville Lady Lobos winning 3-0. They'll face NASA Elite of Georgia in the semifinals. NASA Elite is a perfect 4-0 with a 15-0 goal differential so far at Southern Regionals.
U18 -
D'Feeters 93 girls are the only North Texas side still alive at the Under 18 age. They'll face Team Boca from Florida in the semifianls. Team Boca knocked off Dallas Texans 3-1 in quarterfinal play on two late Tatiana Coleman goals.
U19 -
Dallas Texans 92 won Group B after going perfect in pool play. They'll face the Alabama state champs BUSA Elite in today's semifinal.
On the girls side, both Sting 92 and Dallas Texans 92 are into the semifinals after winning their respective groups. It could be an all North Texas final if they can navigate their semifinal round today.
