SMU Coach Hyndman to FC Dallas?

Let the speculation begin! Will FC Dallas once again go after legendary SMU coach Schellas Hyndman this winter to fill their vacant coaching position? FC Dallas made overtures to Hyndman 3 years ago before hiring Colin Clarke. Clarke had been with FC Dallas since 2001 when he joined as an assistant coach under Mike Jeffries. He assumed the head coaching job in 2003 when Jeffries was let go.

The speculation will have to remain just that as Hyndman has stated that his concentration is on the upcoming NCAA national tournament which begins this weekend. SMU has a first round bye and will face either UC Santa Barbara or San Diego State in Dallas next week.
