TCU Womens Soccer Update

The rebuilding TCU womens soccer team sits 5-8-4 on the year. Coach Dan Abdalla, in his 2nd year at TCU has come in and made significant strides in upgrading the program. He has been able to recruit several talented young players that have come in and made significant contributions early in their TCU careers. These players will be the foundation as the program grows over the next few years. Right now 3 of the top 4 leading scorers for the team are freshman (Lizzy Karoly, Michelle Nguyen and Chelsea White). With another quality recruiting class signing in February look for the Lady Frogs to continue to make progress towards national respect. Already this season the team has quality wins over Tulsa and Houston while playing #1 ranked Notre Dame to a tight 0-2 loss in a game that was tied at the half. The Lady Frogs finish their regular season on Saturday in Fort Worth against San Diego State at noon.
