Andromeda 91 boys the lone North Texas team left standing at Southern Regionals

The Andromeda 91 boys are the only Dallas Classic League squad to advance to the finals at the Region III Southern Regionals in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Andromeda won a 1-0 semifinal match over AFC Lightning from Georgia.   They'll face off with the 91 Black Rebels from South Texas in tomorrow's title match. 

Both Dallas teams were eliminated in the semifinals at the U14 age.  Solar 96 fell 2-0 to Lonestar SC from Austin while FC Dallas 96 u14 dropped a 1-0 decision to Charlotte SA of North Carolina.  FC Dallas's Tanner Gardner leads the age group with 4 goals scored for the tournament.

In U16 play, Solar Red 94 lost 2-1 to Concorde Fire from Georgia in their semifinal match.  The Fire jumped out to a 2-0 lead after 43 minutes before Ryan Condotta pulled one back for Solar Red.
