Andromeda 90 claims Dallas Cup Super Group spot

The defending national champion Andromeda 90 boys defeated Solar 90 on Sunday to claim the Under 19 Dallas Classic League fall championship. Along with the championship comes an invitation to the prestigous Dallas Cup Super Group next March 23-28th at Pizza Hut Park. Andromeda and Solar took care of all challengers through the fall Classic League schedule setting up the final weekend showdown for all the marbles. The game was a very high quality affair and very physical as both teams had all to play for. With the 1-0 win Andromeda also claimed the Region III Premier League West title that gives them a berth in next spring's Region III Championships. In other Dallas Cup news, last years defending champions Sao Paolo FC of Brazil will return to defend their title. www.dallascup.com
