It was a beautiful night for high school soccer as Matchday 5 was played in District 5-6A.  We are finally getting some separation at the top of the standings as both Byron Nelson and Keller Central have opened a bit of a gap over the rest of the teams.  We also have quite the logjam in the middle as third through sixth are only separated by a single point.  Looks to be quite the fight for the final two playoff berths!  The stage is set for Friday night as the top two will battle it out.  Keller Central travels to Byron Nelson in a battle of heavyweights for district supremacy.

Byron Nelson 2  Denton Guyer 0
The top team just keeps rolling along as Byron sent Guyer to their third consecutive loss.  BNHS now sit a perfect five wins from five and await Keller Central.

Keller Central 3  Fossil Ridge 1
The short trip between rivals produced quite the game.  Fossil Ridge held a 1-0 halftime lead only to see Sean Garcia notch a second half hat trick to lead the comeback victory and launch the Chargers solidly into second place.

Keller 3  Denton Ryan 0
The Indians got an important win in grand fashion and move right back into the playoff mix.

Timber Creek 1 Northwest 1
The Texans picked up their first point of the season holding Timber Creek to a draw.  Valuable points lost for Timber in a tight playoff race.
