McKinney Boyd girls have no trouble with Irving

The top ranked area girls soccer team McKinney Boyd had no trouble taking care of overmatched Irving Tuesday night in their playoff opener. The girls were clearly out to send a message and get their playoff march underway in dominating fashion. Irving was just overwhelmed frolm the opening whistle as Boyd ran out 11-0 winners on the windy evening. Caitlin Heap notched a hattrick and Amanda Elertson and Emily Reid both scored two each in the victory. With the win the team sits undefeated at 23-0-3 on the season. Next up for the McKinney Boyd girls will be Southlake Carroll who slipped by Keller Fossil Ridge 1-0 last night.
