FC Dallas cant close deal in Colorado

A very valuable three points were in their hands last night in Colorado. Three points which would have moved FC Dallas a couple of spots up the standings and given hope the season had something to play for. A three points the team had fought tooth and nail for all evening. Then with 6 minutes left to play Omar Cummings sliced through the Dallas defense and tied the game. If you have followed FC Dallas this season I guess it was completely expected. FC Dallas had to weather an early Colorado barrage, but keeper Ray Burse was up for the challenge and kept the scoresheet clean. In the 37 minute Dallas would jump ahead as David Ferreira put the team ahead finishing a linkup with Kenny Cooper. The lead would stand up behind solid defending and hard work until Omar Cummings equaled the match late on. FC Dallas has only lost once in their last 7 games...the only problem is they have only won twice over that timeframe. You can't make up ground in the standings with draws.
