The North Texas girls opened conference play in dominating fashion while the SMU men fought to a tough draw with rival Tulsa on Friday night.  The TCU girls split a pair with an impressive road win at Houston and the SMU girls won easily over Sam Houston State.

SMU men soccer ---
The Mustangs travelled to Tulsa on Friday to take on league rivals Tulsa in their conference opener.  Ben Shuleva notched a pair of goals and the Mustangs held a 2-1 lead in the second half before freshman Chad Bauman was sent off for his second yellow card.  The shorthanded Mustangs were unable to hold the lead as Chris Clements evened the game for Tulsa with less than two minutes remaining in the match. SMU returns to the field on Wednesday night against Missouri State.

SMU womens soccer ---
The Lady Mustangs put on a dominating performance Friday night as they beat Sam Houston State 4-0 behind a pair of goals and an assist from Kim Peabody.  Carley Phillips and Kristin Medeiros also scored in the game. Next weekend the girls hit the road with games at Colorado College and UT El Paso.

TCU womens soccer ---

The TCU women split a pair of games on the weekend.  On Friday night the girls hosted Colorado College and dominated the game outshooting CC 16-5.  Unfortunately all the attacking could not produce a goal as Colorado College escaped with a 1-0 win.  Sunday the Lady Frogs travelled to Houston and won an overtime thriller over the Lady Cougars 1-0.  Jackie Torda scored the game winner off an assist from Michelle Nguyen in the 93rd minute of play.

North Texas womens soccer ---
The North Texas girls opened Sun Belt Conference play in dominating fashion this weekend.  The girls earned home wins over Louisiana Monroe (7-0) and Louisiana Lafayette (4-0).  Kendall Juett notched a hat trick on Friday night while Heather Hutyra scored a pair on Sunday.  Next weekend the women
