The 97 boys squads from Dallas Classic League continued day 2 of Dallas Cup XXXI right where they left off on day 1.  After two days of play the four Dallas teams are unbeaten with 7 wins and a draw.   All four teams are in solid position to advance to the quarterfinal round on Thursday.

Dallas Texans South have looked impressive so far winning their two matches.  The opener was a tight 1-0 win over Tigres of Mexico while on Monday they had no problem smashing Chicago Fire 6-0.  A Wednesday showdown for the bracket title is looming on Wednesday in a match with a tough LA FC squad.

FC Dallas 97s have put on an offensive display tallying 10 goals in their opening two games.  On Sunday they defeated Monterrey 4-1 and followed that up on Monday with a 6-1 win over FC Delco from Pennsylvania.

Dallas Texans Red have won both games so far, despite their 7th place standing in the Dallas Classic League.   They have a pair of shutout wins over West Pines United and Club Mana.  Guess this just shows how talented the age group is here in Dallas.

Andromeda Red is the only Dallas side with a blemish on their record.  They played an entertaining and hard fought 3-3 draw with Chicago Magic Monday evening.  Andromeda won their opener 1-0 over Pumas of Mexico on Sunday.   They'll need a win over Fullerton Rangers on Wednesday night to advance.
