Dani Presley of Marcus excels at forward and keeper

FM Marcus junior Dani Persley plays sometimes at forward and sometimes in goal. Other times she pulls off the unusual combination in the same game, such as last weekend when Marcus played in the FW Nolan Showcase. Presley played one half in goal and the other at forward Thursday against St Thomas Aquinas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and again Saturday against Monte Vista, California. Both were nationally ranked teams. She didn't allow a goal. She scoreed twice against Bishop Lynch on Friday playing forward the whole game. "I like playing both of them," Presley said. "Sometimes, it's a little weird when I play against some of my club teammates because they aren't used to seeing me in goal." Presley plays forward for Dallas Texans Red West. She tried out for goal at Marcus as a freshman and played there exclusively until this season. With five keepers, Marcus can give Presley time in the field.
