After two matchdays of Dallas Cup XXXIV FC Dallas East is sitting in the best position of the four Dallas sides in the tournament.  FCD East has won both their opening matches defeating foreign squads Prepa Tec of Mexico and Deportiva Saprissa from Costa Rica.  It should be taken with a bit of a grain of salt though as typically the younger foreign squads do not fair well at all at Dallas Cup historically.

The real test for FC Dallas East will come tomorrow as they face off for the group title against Cal South power FC Golden State Gold who is also a perfect 2-0.  Both sides should go through to the quarterfinals though as the loser should advance as a wildcard.

Clubmates FC Dallas Premier has not fared so well siting with a loss and a draw in their opening two games.  An opening loss to Club Mana of Mexico was followed with a 3-3 draw against English side Crewe Alexandria today.  They'll close group play tomorrow FC Golden State Academy who are currently the top ranked squad in Cal South.

Andromeda Red still has hopes of advancing from a tight Bracket E after a win and a loss in the Dallas Cup so far.  The team bounced back from an opening loss to Pateadores of California with a solid 2-1 win over Seleccion Monterrey today.  They'll close play tomorrow against leaders Chicago Magic needing a win to have hopes of advancing.

The final Dallas side has been a total flop as Dallas Texans Red have lost both games.  Losing on Monday 4-0 to a very impressive Pateadores Los Angeles side and then suffering a close 1-0 defeat to Club Universidad Pumas today. The U13 Dallas Cup looks to be a battle of Cal South sides.
