And that's a wrap folks.  The first half of District 7-6A soccer is in the books and the standings have fallen into place in pretty uniform fashion.  Coppell has clearly shown they are the class and are clear favorites to take the title.  Colleyville Heritage sit three points back and are lodged in second place nicely.  Southlake sit comfortably third.  The top three look locked into place.  The second half should see quite the battle for the final playoff spot between Haltom, Trinity and Richland.

Coppell 2  Haltom 1
The Buffalos stood up to the mighty Cowboys, but didn't have the quality in the end to pull an upset.  Coppell ends the first half with a perfect 6-0-0 record while Haltom look to be favorites to grab the final playoff position.

Colleyville Heritage 1 Richland 0
The Panthers slipped past the Rebels last night as a first half Connor Cole goal stood up.  Jonathan Martin grabbed the assist as Colleyville chase Coppell for top honors.

Southlake 1  LD Bell 0
Duncan Gary notched the winner as the Dragons stay hot on the heels of Heritage in the race for 2nd place.  Other than the opening Coppell loss, Bell have played everyone tight.

District 7-6A standings
Coppell     6-0-0   18   +22
Colleyville  5-1-0  15    + 6
