From top to bottom there is no more competitive district in Texas high school soccer than District 6-6A.  Even the third and fourth placed playoff qualifiers from the district will have the talent to make long playoff runs.  After seven matchday McKinney Boyd sits atop the district unbeaten with a 6-0-1 record.  Plano West and Flower Mound are in hot pursuit sitting close by with plenty of time to make up the gap.  Meanwhile, Hebron, Marcus, Plano East and Allen are all battling it out to get inside that playoff position.  Only Plano HS and Lewsiville look to be dead and buried at this stage of the season.

Friday will mark the last matches of the first round of District 6-6A play.  Every matchday is loaded with quality matches and last Tuesday was no different.

Hebron 2 Plano East 0
A hige win in the playoff battle as Hebron claimed 2-0 victory over Plano East.  Colin Hill and Zach Chamblee were the goalscorers as Hebron moved into 4th.

Plano West 2 Allen 2

The Eagles showed they have plenty of quality despite being lodged in 7th place as they held 2nd place Plano West to an entertaining draw.  Valuable points lost for Wolves in the title race.

McKinney Boyd 2  Lewisville 1
The Broncos extended their lead to three points at the top of the table slipping past last place Lewisville 2-1.  Michael Lewis and Hayden Uhl provided the goals in the victory.

Marcus 3  Plano 0
An important win for the Marauders as they battle to get into playoff position.  They'll need to string some wins together to keep their long playoff streak in tact.

District 6-6A Standings:
McKinney Boyd 6-0-1  19 points
Plano West       5-1-1  16 points
