FC Dallas back on track beating Vancouver

The rest has obviously done FC Dallas some good as they have bounced back from a long losing streak to win two in row. Better yet, the team is scoring goals once again. Saturday night brought cellar dwellars expansion Vancouver to Pizza Hut Park. A team FCD should definitely take care of and they did.
Dallas bossed the match right from the opening whistle taking the play straight at the outmatched visitors. They grabbed the lead on 35 minutes when a clearance from keeper Kevin Hartman was flicked on by Brek Shea. Marvin Chavez raced onto the ball and put it home. The game was put away after halftime when Brek Shea fired home from just inside the area.
The win moves FC Dallas into a tie for 3rd place in the Western Conference and a first round playoff bye. The result also assures Vancouver becoming the first ever MLS side to go a whole season without a road victory. Thus a major reason they sit last in the West.
With one match left to play Real Salt Lake holds the tie breaker over FC Dallas. RSL hosts Portland next weekend. Dallas finishes at San Jose where they need to better the RSL result.
