Two of the best teams in MLS squared off in Philadelphia Saturday night in front of a wild crowd.  They were there to see the MLS return of Freddy Adu and the two sides wouldn't disappoint as they played a wide open affiar.

Freddy Adu had influence in his first match as he sprayed several quality passes around.  Meanwhile, Brek Shea continued his fine form of play fresh off a good performance with the US Natonal Team during the week.  Maicon Santos pounced on some lazy Union defending to give Dallas the early lead, but a poor challenge from Ugo Ihemulu gifted the home side a penalty kick midway through the opening half.

Sebastien Le Toux knocked home hte spotkick to even the match, but FC Dallas would strie just before halftime when Marvin Chavez got loose on the break.  His rolling shot bounced off the post, but Brek Shea was racing in to tap home giving the visitors a 2-1 lead at the break.

The wide open play continued in the 2nd half as both teams created chances.  FC Dallas was holding on as the Union pushed to tie.  George John received his 2nd yellow card with 10 minutes to play and FC Dallas were down to 10 men.  With captain Hernandez subbed earlier, Dallas were short both of their rocks in the middle of the field and they paid for the absence.

With just minutes left another awkward challenge left Phialdelphia with their second penalty kick of the night to the displeasure of the visitors.  LeToux would knock home again and the game was tied.  Dallas keeper Kevin Hartman would make two huge saves in stoppage time to preserve the road draw and get the team a point on a tough night.
