FC Dallas Selects Peri Marosevic with the 5th Pick in 2009 MLS Superdraft

FC Dallas has selected forward Peri Marosevic with the 5th overall pick in today's 2009 MLS Superdraft. The 19 year old University of Michigan forward was 2nd in the Big Ten in goals last season. Marosevic has spent time with the US Under 20 National Team and should add depth to the FC Dallas front line which recently lost Dominic Oduro in a trade with New York Red Bull.

Peri Marosevic is a generation adidas player meaning he will not count against the FC Dallas senior roster next season nor will he count against the MLS salary cap.
