Oscar Pareja has led FC Dallas back to the playoffs thanks to a thrilling come from behind 2-1 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy.  It was Landon Donovan's last appearance in Texas and a huge crowd was on hand to not only watch the home side but to also send off the American soccer star.  instead the home side stole the show getting goals from David Texeira and Fabian Castillo to rally past the Galaxy.  The dramatic Castillo goal came with only minutes left to play.

“It’s great to bring the playoffs back to Frisco,” said head coach Oscar Pareja. “It’s well deserved for the whole community.”

Now that FCD is back in the playoffs they have two games remaining to improve upon their 4th place standing.  They only trail rivals Real Salt Lake by a single point in the standings.  RSL has a difficult road match at Portland (a team fighting for the final playoff spot) and then close at home to lowly Chivas USA.  Dallas travels to lowly Colorado before finishing at home with the Portland Timbers  Can they make up that one point deficit?  It will probably take two wins.

“I feel great but the job is not done yet,” Pareja said. “Tonight we're going to enjoy the fact that we're back, but tomorrow I will come out eager to fight for the third spot.”
