Tuesday's friendly marked the first meeting between Club America of the Mexican league and FC Dallas of MLS.  The match was set up primarily to honor Duilio Davino, who played 10 seasons with Club America before joining FC Dallas in January and becoming captain.  Unfortunately, Davino didn't dress due to a left toe injury that has sidelined him for his team's previous five MLS games.

Dominic Oduro and Drew Moor each scored a goal to lead FC Dallas to a 2-1 win over Club America in an international friendly on Sunday.    Oduro scored in the 9th minute from the top of the goalie's box when he redirected a pass from Bruno Guarda into the left corner of the net.  Moor extended the lead to 2-0 in the 28th minute when he fired a shot with the inside of his right foot from nearly the same spot as Oduro.

Alfredo Moreno scored on a penalty kick in the 33rd minute to pull Club America to 2-1. Moreno was awarded the penalty shot after he was knocked down by Moor inside the penalty area.  Club America looked to have drawn even in the 83rd minute but Danuel Marquez was ruled offside on his goal.  FC Dallas goalkeeper Dario Sala finished with nine saves, Club America's Armando Navarrette stopped four shots.
