The final ten boys 99 squads grabbed their spots last weekend as the Dallas Classic League U11 qualifier wrapped up with some very exciting matches at Richland College.  CD Chivas, Barcelona, Gunners, FC Dallas Blue and Club Classic all looked very strong in winning their respective groupings.

The main drama came in Group I where a very weak Boca Jrs team was dropped into a group with Atletico Madrid and FC Dallas Red.  Once Atletico and FC Dallas Red played to a 2-2 draw it came down to who would beat Boca Jrs the worst.  Boca only had 11 players and were quite outclassed having gone through the 1st round of qualifying losing all 3 matches with a 0-11 goal differential.  FC Dallas Red put 4 past Boca leaving a tired Boca team to have to turn right around on short rest and face Atletico.  Boca didnt put up much of a fight and Atletico Madrid notched 7 to win the group on goal differential over FC Dallas Red.

FC Dallas Gold and FC Dallas Blue also grabbed Division 1 slots.  FC Dallas Blue won their grouping with an impressive win over a solid OC Wizards squad who should be one of the powers of D2 next year.  FC Force won a soft grouping and will be one of the bottom squads in D1.
