They were just as good as advertised.  Manchester United were solid and professional as they dispatched hometown FC Dallas 2-0 on Sunday night to open Dallas Cup XXXIII

Man U wasn't terribly dynamic, but they played a perfect game of soccer.  Very few mistakes.  Great team shape and discipline.  Technically good. Very professional.  They are going to be very difficult to beat here.  Their main weakness might be a lack of depth.  They only brought 13 players for the weeklong tournament.  An injury here or there and they could be in trouble.

Credit to FC Dallas who came to play and had no intentions of sitting back against their powerful foes.  They definitely had intentions of playing an open game and should have scored on a few occasions.
Danny Garcia got into the box and rounded the keeper in the second half but somehow missed the empty net hitting side netting instead.

The highly touted Keane twins notched both goals for Manchester United.  William scoring early as he knocked home a cross and Michael heading home a corner kick in the second half.

Despite Michael being a defender, it was the third time this year the two have scored in the same game. The twins agreed that when it comes to the team, they don't really care who scores.

"We're just always looking for a win. It doesn't really matter who scores if the team plays well and we win," Michael said.
