Dillon Powers to lead US Under 20s at Dallas Cup

Local talent Dillon Powers will lead a talented US Under 20 National Team in the Super Group at the upcoming Dallas Cup XXXI.  Powers played locally for Andromeda before graduating and moving on to Notre Dame where he tallied five assists in his freshman season. 

Dillon Powers will join three US veterans from last fall's Under 17 World Cup in Will Packwood, Tyler Polak and Jared Watts.  Other teammates,  Zac MacMath, Kofi Sarkodie and Amobi Okugo have played in previous youth World Cups for the US.

The Americans are in Group D and will open as the feature soccer match against the Mexico Under 20s at Pizza Hut Park on Sunday March 28th 7:00pm.  The US will face the Vancouver Whitecaps on Monday and close out group play on Wednesday evening against Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany.  The group winner will advance to the semifinal round on Friday night at Pizza Hut Park.
