- Dillon Powers, Ruben Luna, Development Academy players of the year
Powers and Luna named Development Academy Players of the Year

A pair of Dallas boys were named 2009 Development Academy Players of the Year today.
Dillon Powers
won the U18 honor representing Andromeda SC and
Ruben Luna
won the U16 honor playing for FC Dallas.
Dillon Powers
has won numerous honors already this year including the Gatorade High School National Player of the Year while playing for Andromeda in the Development Academy and the
Dallas Cup
Super Group. He'll be attending Notre Dame this fall to play for the Fighting Irish and possibly representing the United States at the Under 20
World Cup
as well.
Ruben Luna
won the U16 honor playing for coach Oscar Pareja where he scored almost 50% of all the goals FC Dallas scored all year. Luna and FC Dallas U16s are currently in California playing for the Development Academy championship.
