FC Dallas fell to Chivas USA 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Pizza Hut Park.  It marks the first time in the clubs 14 year history that they have opened the MLS season 0-2.   The first half looked as if FC Dallas was destined to get on the board first, but it was not to be as seven FC Dallas shots failed to find the net and the game went 0-0 to halftime.

FC Dallas came out fast in the 2nd half and  Kenny Cooper looked to have put the home side ahead in the 47th, but his goal was ruled offside.  Just ten minutes later Chivas USA had the lead when Eduardo Lillingston got behind the Dallas defense and fired a nice shot past Ray Burse for Chivas.  The lead would be doubled in the 75th when substitute Bojan Stepanovic scored to put the match out of reach.

FC Dallas hits the road with Dallas Cup hitting town.  The Hoops head to New England to face the Revolution where they have lost their last 5 matches.
