FC Dallas rallied late for a 1-1 draw in Seattle Sunday night.  A spectacular goal from David Ferreira provided the tying goal in the 87th minute of play.   Heath Pearce sent a cross through the penalty area to Ferreira, who converted from 12 yards away on the left side as Dallas (5-2-7, 22 points) extended its unbeaten streak to five games.

Ferreira has factored into the scoring in the last three games for Dallas. He converted game-winning penalty kicks against Chivas USA on June 26 and against Kansas City on July 3. He now has three goals this season.

It was a wide open and very entertaining match as both teams attacked in waves generating quality chances at both ends of the pitch.  The atmosphere was jsut as good as the game as 36,000 Sounders fans cheered on.

Fredy Montero put Seattle ahead in the 14th minute on a diving header as Ugo Ihemelu gave him just the slither of space he needed.  Seattle played a man down after rookie midfielder Miguel Montano got a straight red card following an altercation with Dallas midfielder Brek Shea in the 57th minute.
