FC Dallas falls to San Jose 2-0

Well this was one strange and frustrating game for sure.   FC Dallas found themselves down 2-0 in 23 minutes. Then proceeded to boss the match, but come away empty handed.  San Jose only managed two shots anywhere close all night and they both went in the net.  FC Dallas fired away 18 times forcing Earthquakes keeper Jon Busch into several saves.  That's soccer though and when ya dig a hole it's a very difficult game to climb back into.

Chris Wondolowski notched both San Jose goals shocking the FC Dallas crowd into silence.  Young Columbian forward Fabian Castillo made his anticipated debut and immediately caused problems as he skated forward.  The prized 18 year old made his presence felt almost immediately with a pretty cross to the far post, but Milton Rodríguez pu his header just over the crossbar.

It's a disappointing start for FC Dallas who have only a single point to show from two home matches so far.  They'll head to Columbus next weekend to face the Crew.
