This was the first recruiting class for second year coach Eric Bell and he decided to go big signing 13 to join the TCU womens soccer program for the fall.  He had the team playing their best soccer at the end of the season as TCU raced all the way to the Big 12 Tournament championship game before falling to Baylor.  On the way TCU upset West Virginia and Texas.

It is clear expectations are on the rise and this new class of talent should help spring TCU forward in 2013.

"I think that coming in and trying to figure out what we needed and trying to take care of needs, I think we did a very good job of identifying players that will come in and play the way we want to play," said Bell.

UT transfer Lexi Harris will bring immediate experience to the squad as she started 33 games at Texas the last two years in the midfield.  Another player expected to make an impact is forward Jessica Hoyt from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She notched 51 goals along with 49 assists her final two seasons and was the Florida 5A Player of the Year twice.

The large influx of talent will greatly strengthen the TCU roster and give Coach Bell the flexibility to face any opponent on the TCU soccer schedule.
