The Dallas Sidekicks hit the road and suffered a 12-9 loss at Hidalgo La Fiera Sunday evening.  Edgar Flores scored four goals to pace Hidalgo in the victory as the Sidekicks suffered their 2nd loss of the season.

After starting the match even at 2-2 Hidalgo would run out to a comfortable lead thanks to three straight goals in the 2nd period of play. Dallas clawed one back to open the 3rd quarter and then the two sides traded goals until Dallas made a late run.  Jamie Lovegrove slotted home a Paulo Da Silva pass to make it 8-7 in the fourth quarter, but that would be as close as they would get.

Hidalgo would restore their lead when De Souza, a Flores brace, the second which was an empty net goal, and Carlos Farias made it 12-8 to end the scoring for Hidalgo La Fiera. Dallas added a late goal from Patrick Shamu which was assisted by Frank Mbemba which finalized the scoring at 12-9.

The loss leaves the Sidekicks in 3rd place currently at 6-2 while Hidalgo sits 2nd at 7-1.  Monterrey leads the Central Division right now with a 9-1 record.  It is the only meeting of the year between the Sidekicks and Hidalgo and somehow Dallas does not even play Monterrey despite being in the same division.
