Duncanville arrived at Pennington Field in Bedford unbeaten in 22 matches this season and with the District 8-6A title.  LD Bell were looking to parlay a home field advantage into a huge upset.  Would LD Bell be able to hang with the powerful Panthers?

The chances started coming after only five minutes as Duncanville almost found the net twice.  First, a half chance from Arturo Barrera rolled just wide and then Tim Ugo got in down the right flank firing inches wide. The goal would come shortly after though as Jonathan Macias expertly put home a free kick from thirty yards out.

LD Bell were hanging on for dear life as Tim Ugo nearly doubled the lead on eleven minutes as his curling strike clanged off the right post and away.  Duncanville were swarming and the chances kept coming.

On the next corner Duncanville banged home the second goal.  Arturo Barrera won the initial header that was saved by Eulisses Olvera. The rebound sat perfectly though for Kyle Dickerson to poke home.  Only fifteen minutes in and this was looking like a complete mismatch.

LD Bell finally got their feet under them and started to fight back.  Unfortunately they were already two goals in the hole.  The Raiders were at least able to go play on the Duncanville end a bit and get to halftime with no more damage.

With time to refocus, could LD Bell get a goal back and make this a match or would Duncanville exert their influence once again?

The second started just like the first ended.  Pretty even for the most part with both sides getting attacks but no real clear cut chances.    LD Bell would get a golden opportunity in the 56th minute as they earned a dangerous free kick 25 yards out.   The chance was wasted though when Dominic Pulido put his shot well over the crossbar.

With twenty minutes to go the score was still 2-0 to Duncanville.  Bell would need to strike soon or be out of the playoffs.  Duncanville were starting to boss the match once again though keeping the Raiders pinned in their end for several minutes as the clock slowly wound down.

The match was decided with fifteen minutes to play as Duncanville got, into the box with a nice pass.  The Duncanville player easily went to ground and the ref bought it awarded the penalty kick.  A total flop. Jonathan Macias stepped up and calmly put the spot kick home for the 3-0 lead.

Things would devolve from there as Duncanville would add three more goals in the final ten minutes to make it a 6-0 rout.  Bell will look back on this one and shake their heads.  The opening fifteen and closing fifteen minutes they were blasted, but the middle fifty minutes was a pretty even match.  Definitely not a 6-0 match but clearly Duncanville were much the better side.  The Panthers will take the momentum and blast into the second round of the playoffs.
