North Texas sides are faring well at the Region III Championships in Tennessee.  The majority have booked places in the quarterfinal round heading into Monday's knockout matches.

U14 -
All three 97 teams from North Texas went undefeated through group play winning their respective groups.  The FC Dallas 97 boys will face Lonestar in quarterfinal play while the Dallas Texans Red 97s will play West Pines Florida.  On the girls side Sting 97 faces the south Texas champs AHFC.

U15 -
The Solar Chelsea 96 boys rolled to three dominating victories in group play and will face CASL Elite in the knockout round.  Yannick Koffi leads the age group with 5 goals so far.  The Dallas Texans bounced back from a poor start and were able to grab second place in Group A thanks to a solid 4-0 win over Celtic from Oklahoma Sunday.  They'll play Group B champions Brentwood Premier of Tennessee.

On the girls side, both D'Feeters 96 and Sting 96 won their respective groups to advance.  The D'Feeters will play Atlanta Fire Monday while Sting plays TNFC Impact.

U16 -
Both Solar boys squads crashed out in group play disappointingly.  Solar Red 95 managed only a win in their three games while Solar 95 earned a pair of draws before heading home.  The D'Feeters also didn't fare well at all as they finished last in their bracket with only a draw to show.  Sting 95 girls were the only North Texas side to advance at the age as they swept to three wins all by shutout.  They'll face GSA Pheonix from Georgia next.

U17 -
Group A had a North Texas showdown on Sunday with a quarterfinal berth on the line.  The Dallas Texans 94 upset Classic League Grand Champions TFC 2-0 earning 2nd place in Group A and sending TFC home.  The Texans will face CESA of South Carolina in quarterfinal play.

On the girls side, Solar Red 94 were sent packing as they slipped to a 2-0 loss to CESA.  Solar Red finished in a three way tie for the group lead, but were eliminated as they finished third in goal differential.  Meanwhile, The Dallas Texans Red 94 won their bracket and will face Collierville from Tennessee next.

U18 -
The Dallas Texans Red West 93s had a disappointing run managing only a pair of draws and being eliminated in group play.  In girls play, Dallas Texans 93 scraped out a 2-1 win over CASL Elite to grab 2nd place in Group A and a quarterfinal spot.  A Kelley Minogue goal in the 81st minute was the winner.  The D'Feeters also earned 2nd place in their group with a 1-0 win over the Alabama state champs on a late Meghan Streight goal.
