Dallas Sidekicks limp to disappointing finish

This is not the Dallas Sidekicks performance we are used to seeing here in North Texas.  For years always competitive. Always a factor in the playoffs. The 2015-16 season was nothing but a major step backwards. A 7-13 record is hardly acceptable as the team finished with eight game losing streak.  The team finished dead last in the Pacific Division behind San Diego, Tacoma, Ontario and Sonora.

The only bright spot on the season has to be the play of young Cameron Brown who became an offensive force in the MASL.  The talented attacker finished the season with 26 goals and 11 assists to finish 14th in the overall league scoring race.  No other Sidekick finished inside the top 25 scorers. On defense, goalkeeper Juan Gamboa finished 11th among MASL keepers with a 6.17 goals against average.

Hopefully management will strengthen all areas of the squad before next fall to get our Dallas Sidekicks back to the level we have all come to expect from our proud indoor soccer franchise.
