The Monterrey Flash are a definite problem.  They have now beaten the Sidekicks in two full length matches and a mini-game this season. For Dallas to get far in the MASL playoffs they will have to beat the Flash in Monterrey.  Last night the first place Flash came to Dallas and put away the Sidekicks in impressive fashion 6-2.  They were never really troubled running out to a 2-0 lead in the opening quarter of play.  The Sidekicks never got closer than that the rest of the night.

Alex Megson and Ricardinho scored the goals for the Dallas Sidekicks finished the MASL regular season in second place of the Southern Division.  The playoffs are next where Dallas will face third place Oxford FC of Texas.  The two teams have played four times this fall with the Sidekicks winning three times.  Most recently Dallas beat Oxford 7-2 in Allen on February 7th.  The first round playoff game is Sunday, March 1st 2:00 at the Allen Event Center.
