After a slow start to the season the Dallas Sidekicks have things clicking in high gear now running off five straight wins.  The team lost their first four games to open the schedule, but have definitely gelled over the past few weeks.  The last four victories have come on home turf at the Allen Events Center.

The win streak started with a 6-2 victory in Tacoma and continued as the Sidekicks swept a four match homestand.  Impressive wins over San Diego, Saltillo and Brownsville twice moved Dallas to 5-4 on the season.  They’ll now embark on a three game road trip to Saltillo and Brownsville who will be looking to exact some revenge from earlier losses.

Currently the Sidekicks are sitting 4th in the MASL Pacific Division looking up at a very stout Sonora squad who are 8-1 so far.  It will take quite a run to catch them but San Diego and Tacoma are only a half game ahead in 2nd & 3rd place.

Cameron Brown leads the team with 18 points on the season notching 11 goals and 7 assists.  Cody Ellis, Arthur Ivo, RJ Luevano and Ricardinho all have reached double digits in points to lead the balanced attack.  Juan Gamboa has manned the nets recording a 4-4 record and a 5.28 goals against average.

Catch the Dallas Sidekicks when they return home on Thursday January 14 to face the Tacoma Stars at 7:30. They’ll also play the following night welcoming the Ontario Fury to town. A huge match looms on January 30th as 1st placed Sonora comes to town for a 7:00 match.
