The SMU women headed west and came out with a 2-0 loss to Portland and a scoreless draw with Oregon. Friday night SMU put up a tough fight, but couldn't quite hang with the 5th ranked Portland Pilots. Courtney Webb made 5 saves in goal for SMU while the offense could only generate three shots the entire match. Sunday saw the defense once again put in a good effort as they held Oregon scoreless for 120 minutes of play. Oregon fired off 22 shots on the day and Courtney Webb put in a great goalkeeping display to keep the shutout. The downer was an offense that was shutout for the second game in a row. SMU returns home to face St Louis at Wescott Field on Wednesday evening at 7:00.
