SMU men have no problem taking care of Oakland

The SMU men went to Tulsa for the Hurricane Classic and opened with a resounding thumping of Oakland 4-1 Friday night. Four different players found the net for the Mustangs as they even their record at 2-2 on the season.
Ian Kalis got the scoring started in the 29th minute of play as he headed home an Arthur Ivo corner kick. That would be the only goal of the opening half, but SMU would emerge strongly from the break and open up the match. Freshman Damian Rosales made it 2-0 in the 51st minute of play when he put home an Ivo cross.
It was more cross and finish in the 68th minute as Zach Barnes finished while Tyler Engel provided the 4th late on to put an exclamation point on the win. Next up for SMU is a mouth-watering game against #3 ranked UConn on Sunday morning.
