The #21 Oklahoma State womens soccer team had no trouble disposing of SMU by a 4-0 score Friday night in Stillwater, Oklahoma. OSU got out of the gates quickly and earned a penalty kick in the 8th minute which Annika Niemeier put home. It was 2-0 in the 23rd when Siera Stawser scored. The 2nd half was much of the same as goals from Kasey Langdon and Megan Marchesano provided the final 4-0 margin. Courtney Webb made 9 saves in the nets for SMU as Oklahoma State outshot SMU 27-5 on the evening. With the win Oklahoma State moves to 1-1 on the season as they lost their opener last week at Colorado. SMU falls to 0-2 on the year after losing at Oral Roberts in their opener. Next up for SMU is the home opener against North Texas on September 4th.
