2008 State Cup Champions Crowned

North Texas crowned their 2008 State Cup champions yesterday afternoon in the U11 to U17 age groupings.  Dallas Texans were the big winners on the day taking titles in 6 of the 7 ages, while taking 3 on the grils side.

In boys play,  the Dallas Texans took titles at every age except Under 16 where Solar 92 won the championship by defeating River Plate 92 by a 2-0 score.  Dallas Texans and Solar SC faced off in four of the age groups with Texans winning all four matchups.
Under 11 - Dallas Texans 97  2   Solar 97  1
Under 13 - Dallas Texans 95  2   Solar Red 95  1
Under 14 - Dallas Texans 94  1  Solar 94  0
Under 15 - Dallas Texans 93  2  Solar Red 93  0
The Under 12 final was an all Texans affair as Dallas Texans Red 96 knocked off Dallas Texans South 96 by a score of  3-2. At Under 17 play it was Dallas Texans 91 defeating Andromeda 91 3-2 to take the title.

On the girls side titles were claimed by four different clubs, Dallas Texans three, Solar two, D'Feeters and Sting.

The Dallas Texans girls won titles at U11, U16 and U17.
Under 11 - Dallas Texans 97  1  Solar Blue 97  0
Under 16 - Dallas Texans 92  2  Sting Royal 92  0 
Under 17 - Dallas Texans 91  4 FC Dallas 91  1 

Solar SC claimed a pair of title at the U12 and U14 ages.
Under 12 - Solar Red 96  2  D'Feeters 96  1
Under 14 Solar Red 94  3  Sting 94  2

Sting Royal 95 claimed the U13 title with a 3-1 victory over Dallas Texans 95 while D'Feeters 93 took the U15 championship defeating Dallas Texans 93  2-1.
