This was not the way to welcome your neighbors from Dallas, but it certainly was the way to treat your rivals as TCU blasted SMU 4-1 Friday night in Fort Worth.  The dominant victory pushed the TCU soccer win streak to five matches on the 2014 season.

The visiting Mustangs were able too take the match to the break een at 1-1 thanks to a TCU won goal in the 12th minute of play.  TCU had jumped out to a quick lead as Emma Heckendorn finished a nice pass from Michelle Prokof.  The second half would be all Lady Frogs though.

TCU scored three times after the break to blow open the match.  The Horned Frog passing game was in full effect as Kela Gray made it 2-1 in the 47th while Lauren Sajewich made it 3-1 in the 71st.  Eryn Spencer scored from close range in the 83rd for her first career goal.

"The kids are buying into what we are preaching and working really hard on the defensive end to make it hard for people to come in and play," said Bell. "On the attacking end, they are doing exactly what we ask them to do. We are creating a lot of goal-scoring opportunities and fortunately, for us, we are putting them away."

TCU improves to 6-3 overall. The Frogs will hit the road for their final non-conference match of the season Sunday. TCU will take on North Texas in Denton Sunday afternoon.  Next weekend TCU opens Big XII play as West Virginia and Kansas visit Fort Worth.
