Utah rallied scoring the tying goal with only 18 seconds left to play to force TCU to overtime Saturday morning in Fort Worth.  Utah then grabbed the winner just two minutes into overtime to shock the home side.  It was a crushing loss for TCU who had the game in hand.

Overall, Jordan Calhoun led the Horned Frog offensive attack with five shot attempts, including two on goal. In total, 11 different players recorded shots. The Horned Frogs, who missed on several scoring chances throughout the match, not only hit the post in the first half, but also found themselves within striking distance on several occasions on Saturday morning.

TCU outshot the Utes, 19-15, including 9-6 in the second half. The Frogs also posted a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.  Following an early goal by Utah's Lauren Hair, Calhoun tried to connect from inside the box, but the Utes' Hannah Turpen was able to make the save. The Frogs proceeded to rally off four-straight shots, but couldn't find the back of the net.

In the 10th minute of the half, Jackie Torda appeared to have tied the game at 1-1, but her shot hit the post to keep the Horned Frogs off the board. Following the ricochet off the post, Calhoun tried to light up the scoreboard, but was called for offsides on the play.

At the 12:48 mark of the first half, junior Kaylie Garcia just missed beating Turpen, who made a diving save.  Wilbur tied the game at 1-1 in the 24th minute, netting her second goal of the season. On the play, Alex Mechalske, a Fort Worth native, played a corner kick deep into the box to Katie Taylor, who proceeded to head it over to Wilbur for the game-tying goal.

TCU took the lead in the 37th minute of the game when Kelly Johnson darted down the left side of the field and played a ball into the middle of the box. The ball then proceeded to bounce off a Ute defender into the back of the net to give TCU a 2-1 advantage heading into halftime.

The Horned Frogs came out in the second half on the attack, firing the first three shots.  Early in the half, Calhoun tried to increase the Purple and White lead, but Turpen made a diving save to keep TCU off the board.   Calhoun continued her relentless pressure a few moments later just pushing the ball high over the top half of the goal in the 60th minute. At the 68:59 mark of the second half, Kim Castleberry tried to get into the mix, but Turpen was once again up the task, saving the ball before it could cross the goal.

Late in the game, Johnson tried to add an insurance goal off a free kick by Taylor, but her header inside the box was saved by Turpen.   With only 18 seconds left in the match, Utah's Erin Dalley just beat Kira Michelson-Bartlett to force overtime at Jane Justin Field. Dalley netted the game-winning goal in the extra period off a cross from Hair in the 93rd minute.

With the loss, TCU moved to 7-8-1 overall and 1-3-0 in Mountain West Conference action. Utah improved to 4-12-1 and 2-1-1 in MWC play on Saturday.
