TCU falls to Texas Tech in last minute of 2nd overtime

TCU rallied from a 2nd half 3-2 deficit only to fall in the 119th minute to Texas Tech Friday night at TCU. Texas Tech came out flying and were up 2-0 in the opening 15 minutes of play. TCU would grab a goal back through Jenna Hayes, but Tech still led 2-1 at the half. Sara Ellison restored the two goal lead for Texas Tech just after halftime, but TCU would rally. Goals from Lizzy Karoly and Katie Taylor would know the score at 3. TCU looked to have scored the winner in the 80th minute, but it was ruled offisde and called back. Both teams played evenly through the overtimes until the final minute of play. With only 30 seconds left to play Brittany Harrison got in behind the TCU defense and scored the winner. TCU outshot Texas Tech 23-16 in the exciting match and both teams leave the game with identical 3-1-0 records.
