Four '98 Dallas teams advance in Dallas Cup XXXV

The U16s showed their strength at Dallas Cup XXXV as they comprise half of the quarterfinal bracket. Four teams advanced from group play in impressive fashion.
Solar Chelsea, Dallas Tigres, FC Dallas Premier and Solar Pre-Academy all booked a place in the knockout phases. Only the FC Dallas Academy side failed to get out of group.
FC Dallas Premier 98 rolled through an easy bracket in grand fashion with a 16-1 goal differential. They padded their stats Wednesday against a weak Cicero Mayas team from Illinois winning 9-0. FCD will play Fullerton Rangers from California next.
Solar Chelsea Pre-Academy fought to a 1-1 draw with Concorde Fire to take the top spot in Bracket C. Next up for them is a meeting with Las Vegas SA who won Bracket F over Solar Chelsea on goal differential. Solar Chelsea claimed the wild card and will play Canadian side Monarcas Aztec Warriors. (Interesting name for a team from Canada)
The fourth side to advance is Dallas Tigres who used a stingy defense to grab Bracket D. They only allowed a single goal in their three games in a bracket that saw half of its games end in ties. Dallas Tigres matches up with Juventus of Canada.
It could potentially be an all Dallas semifinal if the four teams are all victorious. That is a tall order in the ultra-competitive Dallas Cup though.
