To say FC Dallas left it late would be an understatement.  There were supposed to be three minutes of stoppage time added on at the end of 90 minutes Thursday night in Frisco.  The match was scoreless and the time was well up.  The clock was hitting 94 minutes when Ugo Ihemelu rose up and headed a Zach Loyd freekick into the net.

Despite injuries and suspensions, FC Dallas were sparked by a return home and ended a two-game losing streak, halting New England’s two-game winning streak in the process.

The hosts dominated the game from start to finish but just couldn’t bury the ball in the back of the net as Reis made key save after save.
New England couldn't mount much offense against Dallas’ offensive surge and were only able to muster a few decent scoring chances. The best came in the eighth minute when midfielder Kelyn Rowe took a shot from outside the box that was swatted away by Kevin Hartman.

The win moves FC Dallas to 2-2-1 on the young MLS season as they prepare to host the expansion Montreal Impact on April 14th.
