North Texas Women run unbeaten streak to 8 games

The University of North Texas womens soccer team ran their unbeaten streak to 8 games defeating Arkansas Little Rock and Arkansas State this weekend in Arkansas. The two important road victories ran UNT's conference record to 7-0-1. Michelle Young and Kendall Juett lead the way offensively for North Texas. Young has 8 goals on the season and Juett has notched 4 goals and 6 assists. The defense has been very stingy as well giving up only 10 goals in 16 matches. Goalkeeper Mandy Hall has recorded 8 shutouts. The team stays on the road next weekend visiting Middle Tennessee and second place Western Kentucky. North Texas currently leads the Sun Belt Conference by half a game over Western Kentucky and a full game over Florida International. The Sun Belt Conference Tournament is later this month in Boca Raton, Florida.
