North Texas opens Sun Belt play with four straight wins

The University of North Texas womens soccer team has opened Sun Belt Conference play with four straight impressive victories. In the four wins they have outscored their opponents by a whopping 10-1. The wins have come against Middle Tennessee, La Monroe, La Lafayette and rivals Western Kentucky.
Freshman goalkeeper Jackie Kerestine has notched three consecutive shutouts in the winning streak and now has six on the season. The offense is led by Michelle Young who has notched 9 goals and 3 assists on the season. Nikki Crocco has 7 goals while Kelsey Hodges has 5 goals so far.
UNT looks to extend their winning streak next weekend as they host Troy and South Alabama in Denton. Currently UNT sits tied atop the Sun Belt Conference standings at 4-0 along with Florida International and Denver.
