Three players with North Texas ties have been invited to the US Under 20 national team training camp. It has been a poor spring for the U20s as they became the first ever American side to fail to qualify for a FIFA Under 20 World Cup. In respose, US Soccer relieved coach Thomas Rongen of his post and replaced him with Tab Ramos.
Victor Ulloa, Dillon Powers and Conor Doyle are North Texans called into the camp with the new coach. Ulloa is a midfielder from Wylie who plays on the FC Dallas MLS reserve squad. Conor Doyle hails from McKinney and currently plays for Derby County in England. Dillon Powers is a forward from Plano and he is currently playing at Notre Dame.
The three will join the US training camp in Vichy, France for six days where they will twice facethe France Under 20 team in friendlies.
